Adam Bielański, Polish chemist and professor, Died at 103

Adam Bielański was on December 14, 1912, in Kraków and died on September 4, 2016.

He was a Polish chemist and professor of Jagiellonian University.

Adam was a member of the Polish Academy of Science.

He was the author of several university-level books on inorganic chemistry, many of which are standard textbooks for students at most universities in Poland.

His brother Władysław (1911–1982) was a professor of biology, as was his sister, Zofia Bielańska-Osuchowska.

Bielański turned 100 years old in December 2012.

Adam Bielański passed away at 103 years old.
