Abul Kalam Azad was born on October 30, 1971, and died on March 31, 2017,

He was a lieutenant colonel of Bangladesh Army.

Azad served as Director of Intelligence of Rapid Action Battalion.

Azad completed MA in English from National University.

Abul was critically injured in a bomb attack while taking part in Operation Twilight.

Azad died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka.

Abul Kalam Azad passed away at 45 years old.
