Abdulkadir Kure, Nigerian politician, Died at 60


Abdulkadir Kure was born on February 26, 1956 and died on January 8, 2017.
He was a Nigerian politician.
He was governor of Niger State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.
Kure was a member of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
During May 2000, Abdulkadir Kure introduced Sharia law in Niger State.
Abdulkadir Kure’s death was announced on Sunday the 8th of Jan, 2017.
He was married to Zainab Abdulkadir Kure, a former civil servant and, since 2007, a member of the Nigerian Senate.
Together they had two daughters and four sons.
Abdulkadir Kure passed away at 60 years old.
