Paul Walker

Paul Walker was born on September 12, 1973, he died in a tragic accident on November 30, 2013, and he was a famous American actor. He was the oldest of five siblings; Walker was raised primarily in the Sunland community of Los Angeles and attended high school in the San Fernando Valley, graduating from Sun Valley’s Village Christian School in 1991.

 

Walker’s film career began in 1986, with the horror or comedy film Monster in the Closet. After finishing Village Christian High School in Sun Valley, Paul attended several community colleges and at first majored in Marine Biology.

 

However, his early taste of acting came back with a vengeance and Paul decided to pursue an acting career. With experience in modelling, a number of television guest spots, Paul joined the cast of “The Young & the Restless” as Brandon Collins for a 2-year period.

 

He was young, making money and starring in the top rated soap opera on television. In 1987 he appeared in The Retaliatory (aka Programmed to Kill), a low budget cyborg action film, with Robert Ginty.

 

He and his sister Ashlie were contestants on a 1988 episode of the game show I’m telling! They finished in second place. In 1993 he played Brandon Collins on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.

 

He and his co-star Heather Tom, who played Victoria Newman, were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a soap opera at the Youth in Film Awards. In 1998, Walker made his feature film debut in the comedy Meet the Deedles, which finally gained him fame.

Paul attended a number of auditions and had a amount of small roles on TV and in the movies before gaining a role in Varsity Blues (1999) in 1999. That same year, Paul and his then-girlfriend Rebecca had a baby girl named Meadow Rain Walker.

 

Paul and Rebecca separated a few years ago and Meadow lives with her mother in Hawaii. She often visited with Paul as his homes in Santa Barbara and Huntington Beach, California.

 

Paul enjoyed relaxing at home with his daughter, Meadow Rain, surfing near his Huntington Beach abode, walking his dogs and just driving.

 

In 2001, Walker’s breakthrough role arrived when he starred opposite actor Vin Diesel in the successful action film The Fast and the Furious, the first film in the franchise.

 

The film established Walker as a notable film star and leading man and led to his reprisal of the role in the 2003 sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious. He continued his career with leading roles in films such as Joy Ride (2001), Into the Blue (2005), and Timeline (2003); he had a supporting role in Clint Eastwood’s adaptation of Flags of Our Fathers (2006).

 

Together with Anthony Hopkins as Ernest Hemingway and Meg Ryan as Mary Hemingway, his career was expected to reach its peak when he appeared in “Papa” (2006). Upon reading the offer he knew right away that he should do it.

Paul Walker has left a legacy, he died tragically in a car accident but his memory lives on.
